The body of this djembe is hand-turned from mahogany wood and covered with natural cowhide leather with fur using a multi-layer nylon-polyester alpine cord.
On the belly of the drum there is a braided carrying handle and a reserve tension cord.
The wood is varnished to improve its appearance and prevent humidity, tension and dirt.
The Bougarabou boasts excellent bass with a full sound spectrum. This djembe has no decoration. The beauty of the varnished wood grain speaks for itself.
