Palo santo (Bursera Graveolens) is a tree native to South America, more precisely Peru.
Palo santo wood is in the same botanical family (Burseraceae) as frankincense.
Palo Santo is used by Andean and Amazonian healers and shamans during rituals of healing, purification, and soul cleansing.
This bark gives off a scent when lit, which is why palo santo is used as incense.
Use: Light a small portion of the wood, to be used as incense only.
Origin: Peru
Dimensions: Sticks of approx. 10 cm / weight: 2 to 5 grams per stick
Place on a heat-resistant surface. Use in a well-ventilated area. Keep away from flammable materials and never leave burning incense unattended. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
