Ganesh (also Ganesha or Ganapati Tantra) is in the Hindu pantheon, but also in Buddhism, the elephant-headed god.

He is the god of knowledge and wisdom, remover of obstacles, and is the patron saint of travelers.

Hindus pray to Ganesh before starting something new, or when they move. Ganesh is the son of Shiva and Parvati.
